Stacey Franklin

I watch over four humans (two little ones and two big ones). The big ones think they’re in charge, but it’s the little ones that get my tail in a wagging frenzy.

Stacey contracted Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy, a rare disease for a young person. Read more about Stacey and her personal struggles with this painful and debilitating disease.

If my humans manage to stray from me, please give them a call. I can’t leave them to their own devices for long!

About Stacey

How YOU can help

For Teens with

Neurological Disorders

More than sixty million children today are diagnosed or treated for neurological disorders. This includes Chronic Pain Syndromes, neurofibromatosis, Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (Lou Gehrigs disease), Huntington Disease, and Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (constant pain causing loss of mobility or use of a limb). There are many more worth listing; at Stacey's Fund, we offer a little comfort no matter what the specific neurologic disorder.

Stacey's Fund is a non-profit organization that uses donations to help support education, comfort, medical need, and quality of life issues for children with NO's. This includes tuition, supplies, and fees for continuing education. Wheelchairs for children from disadvantaged families, as well as other medical devices that help the child in their daily routines. One of our favorite projects is providing for Quality of Life needs, which may include everything from a simple membership in a favorite reading club to a professional makeover of the living quarters to allow better access as well as a more pleasing environment.
